**VAC Developments Ltd **is a growing Canadian Aerospace and Defense Manufacturing Company located in Oakville. We are looking for a **System Administrator to join our IT Team**.

NOTE: This is **NOT a remote position.**
- **Responsibilities**_
- Providing first and second-level technical support of current information systems locally.
- Maintaining, testing, and resolution of issues of all PC hardware and associated peripherals such as scanners and printers
- Hands on experience supporting multiple operating systems (Windows Pro 10, windows server (2016-2019-2022)).
- Experience on backup software (Altaro
- Arcserve) using QNAP device is an assist.
- Experience on SQL database and SSRS reports is an assist.
- **Knowledge about CNC machines, communication and software is an assist.**
- **Requirements and skills**_
- Two (2) or more years’ experience working in Help Desk support, PC hardware, software, and network administration.
- Knowledge about Install, Configure, Maintain Windows Server 2008 R2, 2016 and Windows/Server services.
- Quickness at picking up and understanding business needs and context.
- Keeping your cool when dealing with stressed IT users.
- Agile and analytical problem solving.
- Deep capacity to thrive in a dynamic, changing business environment.
- Maintaining attention to detail and efficiencies while juggling multiple priorities.
- Motivation and drive towards continuous learning and growth within your role and the company.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Must have a BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent.
- MCSA, Network +, CompTIA A+ certificate an assist.
