Do you love making dogs look and feel their best? Are you a skilled groomer looking for flexible, freelance work in a supportive and fun environment? We’re looking for a **freelance Dog Groomer** to join our growing pet care team

About the Role:
As a freelance Dog Groomer at The Barkshire Manor, you’ll provide grooming services on an as-needed basis. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants a flexible schedule or already operates as an independent groomer and is looking for a professional, dog-loving environment to work in.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform grooming services including baths, haircuts, nail trims, ear cleaning, and deshedding treatments
- Assess dogs for coat condition, skin issues, or behavioural concerns prior to grooming
- Maintain a clean and safe grooming area and sanitize equipment between appointments
- Provide a positive and low-stress experience for each dog
- Communicate clearly and kindly with pet parents about grooming outcomes or any concerns
- Manage your own scheduling (experience with the Gingr platform is an asset)

**Requirements**:

- Professional grooming experience (minimum 1 year preferred)
- Knowledge of breed-specific cuts and grooming safety practices
- Ability to work independently and responsibly
- Comfortable handling dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments
- Own grooming tools preferred; table and bathing equipment will be provided
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Certification in pet grooming is an asset but not required
