**Position**: Enhanced Support Educator
**Program**: The Learning Centre (GIAG)
**Site**: Bridgewood Public School - Before & After School Program
**Age Group**: School Age
**Hourly Wage**: $20.70
**Start Date**: September 3, 2025
**End Date**: December 19, 2025 (Extension may be offered depending on program need and funding availability)
**Shifts**: Split Shifts, Monday-Friday (7:15-9:15 AM and 3:15-4:45 PM) = 3.5 hours daily / 17.5 hours weekly (Shifts may slightly change based on the need of the program)

**Additional Details**:

- Eligible for paid sick days and personal days after probation period.
- Extended straight shifts may be available on PA Days and March Break, if needed.
- Full straight shifts are available during Summer Camp.

**Role Overview**:
The enhanced support staff is a temporary additional support to the program and therefore is not to be included as part of the ratio. Enhanced support staff are not for one-on-one support for a child. The role of the enhanced support staff is to assist the educators in all aspects of the program to support the inclusion of all children in the program.
- Ideally the enhanced support staff should be an RECE. However, if we are unable to hire an RECE in this capacity, we may hire someone with related education or at minimum, someone who has previous experience working in childcare or early years programs._

**Requirements (as part of licensed Ministry childcare standards)**:

- Current Standard First Aid & CPR Level C
- Current/Clear Vulnerable Sector Check
- Up-to-date Immunizations
- Health Assessment
- This position is funded by the City of Cornwall, Inclusion Services program. _
