Lending Services Associate

The Lending Services Associate administers BlueShore Financial's retail and commercial loan portfolio, while providing centralized service and support to branches and internal departments. Lending Services oversees all post approval activities that occur during the lifecycle of the loan. In addition, this role provides support and guidance to employees around loan administration related procedures, documentation and system inquiries.

**Key responsibilities of this role are**:
- Provides administrative support and guidance to branches for all loan related post approval activities including; instructing, funding, payment processing, fire insurance notification, renewal processing, payouts and discharges.- Acts a resource to lenders on credit administration related policies and procedures including in depth knowledge of the mortgage registration process and required documentation.- Manages relationships with solicitors and prepares security documentation for new mortgage funding- Processes new mortgage funding, re-advances and personal loan funding and provides risk oversight by ensuring correct security and documentation are in place.- Prepares payout statements to both branches and solicitors ensuring pre-payment penalties are calculated correctly and accurately.- Prepares discharges of mortgages while ensuring proper security is released- Audits files to ensure all required branch and legal documents are received. Includes follow up with branch and solicitor for necessary missing documents.- Provides administrative support to branches by processing mortgage and loan related payments and alterations, including external PAD set up- Liaises with third party service providers including CUMIS, First Canadian Title, solicitors, Canadian Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC), Genworth, and Canadian Securities Registration Systems (CSRS) on behalf of branch staff.- Participates in work team solutions that support efficient centralized lending administration.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- 2 years experience in the financial services industry or related industry
- Solid understanding of BlueShore lending products
- Previous experience in customer service
- Some exposure to lending would be an asset, but not required

The target range of this role is $46,000 - $58,000/year, plus competitive variable performance bonus. Employment offers are determined by knowledge, experience and internal equity.
