Duncan, Canada Park Place - BC Full time

**POSITION: RECREATION AIDE**

**Hours**: Part Time

**Shift**: 8 hour shift

**Salary**: Starting from $22.00 per hour

**In this position you will be responsible for**:

- Preparing, implementing and evaluating recreation programs;
- Ensuring Residents are involved in identified recreational activities;
- Leading, instructing and motivating Residents in individual and group leisure pursuits;
- Maintaining accurate Resident records;
- Performing other related.

**Must haves**:

- High school graduation with additional training in recreation, geriatrics or related area.
- Experience working with seniors preferred.
- Effective verbal and written communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Valid First Aid/CPR certification.
- Food Safe
- Ability to work evenings and weekends.
- All applicants must successfully pass the Vulnerable Sector Criminal Records Check.

**Preference**
- Ability to obtain Class 4 DL
