**"Immediate for Hire"** We are seeking an **Inside Sales Representative** to report to the CEO. The Inside Sales Representative will develop new leads, communicate with customers, understand their needs, and ensure a smooth sales process. This role requires the ability to close sales and consistently meet targets. **This role is based out of our Collingwood location at 20 Stewart Road.** **Start Date**: Immediate **Hours of Work**: This is a full-time position - 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday; In-person with the potential for hybrid work after probationary period. **Salary & Benefits**: Sensor Technology offers competitive compensation and a generous healthcare spending account, including a subsidy for fitness equipment and gym memberships. We also offer a supportive, collaborative work environment, growth and professional development opportunities. **Responsibilities for this position include**: **Communicating with Customers**: - Interact directly with customers and the customer service team to understand current customer needs, identify sales opportunities, and set up appointments for the sales team when necessary **Lead Generation**: - Research potential leads from business directories, web searches, or digital resources **Sales Process Management**: - Quote prices, discuss credit terms, and prepare sales order forms and reports **Sales Goals**: - Strive to meet sales goals and deliver excellent customer service during the lead-generation process **Product Knowledge**: - Maintain current knowledge of products and services to present to customers - Work closely with each business unit to stay informed on new product offerings and supply departments with information on emerging trends - Proven experience in sales, preferably in an inside sales or related role - Experienced in cold calling with a confident and engaging phone presence - A strong team player: you will work closely with the Customer Service, Production, and Business Development to ensure the team is aware of developing market trends and new customer needs - Ability to develop strong client relationships and understand customer needs, effectively preparing the Customer Service team to take over - Goal-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets - Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams) - Previous experience with CRM software or other sales tools would be a tremendous asset - Willingness to learn new CRM systems - Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal - Strong analytical and interpersonal skills - Excellent organizational and time-management skills - Knowledge of our industry and products is a plus - Able to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality - Strong work ethic, diligence, commitment, and ability to juggle priorities in a fast-paced environment We would love to hear from you if you want to learn more about this exciting opportunity Sensor Technology is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
