**Role**

The Shipper Receiver is responsible for the daily shipping and receiving of products and supplies to our Newmarket, Ontario warehouse.

**Responsibilities**
- Receive orders from vendors and prioritize them for prompt shipping or stocking in the warehouse
- Complete receiving sheets and stamp necessary information on RGA or labels for returns before providing them to the Warehouse Supervisor
- Ship orders to customers using preferred transport or courier companies
- Coordinate pick-ups or deliveries using our delivery van for customer and vendor locations
- Prepare and deliver paperwork and items for testing to the lab
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace and warehouse
- Perform safety checks on the forklift at the start of each business day
- Inform the Senior Shipper-Receiver when additional packing and shipping materials are needed
- Ensure timely shipping of repairs to vendors and complete the necessary paperwork
- Monitor and communicate with customers regarding pick-ups, noting any necessary information on packing slips
- Perform other duties as required

**Qualifications and Requirements**
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a shipper-receiver role
- Friendly, flexible, and able to work well in a team
- Ability to maintain composure and thrive under pressure
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Quick learner with a strong attention to detail
- Competent computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Experience with QuickBooks is an asset
- Forklift license is an asset
- Familiarity with WHMIS and ability to comply with safety regulations and instructions
- Physical ability to lift, move, and pack items safely
- High school diploma preferred
- Two previous employment references required

**Salary**: $45,000.00-$52,000.00 per year
