Shipper/receiver

Lactalis is one of Canada’s leading producers of premium quality food products including milk, cheese and yogurt. We are currently recruiting for a Separator Operator to join our processing department in our production facility in Winchester, Ontario which produces butter, cheese, powder, and margarine.

**Position: Shipper/Receiver**

**Shift: 8/10-hour shifts with overtime pay and shift premiums**
**(Saturday’s x1.5 and Sunday’s double time)**

**Responsibilities Include**:

- Follow safety procedures and work in a safe manner (LOTO, PPE, Guarding, etc )
- Putting product away; scanning into inventory (SAP)
- Filling customer orders; loading trucks
- Loading containers for export
- Keeping warehouse clean and tidy; good housekeeping
- Year
- end physical inventory count - finished goods, packaging, and ingredients
- Data entry - SAP
- Shift work as scheduled
- Other duties as required.
- Completion of secondary school (OSSD or equivalent)
- Previous warehouse experience
- Able to safely operate mechanical devices
- AZ Driver license is an asset
- Ability to quickly identify and take action in a safe manner
- Ability to safely lift up to 40lbs
- Previous experience in manufacturing, particularly in food industry, is an asset
- Flexible availability for all shifts
- Must be available to workdays, nights, holidays and weekends
