Here's how a Construction Planner Scheduler for our Calgary office contributes to our team:
**Responsibilities**:

- Includes contract requirements in proposed schedules under the supervision of the scheduling manager.
- Assists with providing supporting information for the development of schedule impact analysis for contract changes and project impacts.
- Communicates with staff to determine the actual construction progress and tracks progress via different software, including Power BI, Acumen Fuse and P6.
- Supports project teams with schedule updates, training, P6 access and audits.
- Supports interactive planning and scheduling sessions.
- Assists scheduling manager with monitoring and presenting the project schedules to staff via Power BI, Excel, P6, Word and other communication methods.
- Maintains the P6 EPPM Database.
- Other duties as required.

**Qualifications**:

- Postsecondary degree or diploma in construction management, engineering or a related discipline preferred.
- Experience in construction with working knowledge of maintaining project schedules.
- Applicable scheduling certification an asset.
- Has an understanding of project document controls and procedures.
- Knowledge of construction specifications, building materials, methods and procedures, and the ability to read and understand construction drawings, specifications, contracts and proposal documents.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated critical thinking skills.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective stakeholder relationships.
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment while being flexible to changing needs.
- Exposure to scheduling software such as Primavera P6, EPPM.
- Knowledge of the Critical Path Scheduling method related to the construction industry.
