**About the Opportunity**:
We are currently hiring Personal Support Workers who report to the Care Centre Manager and provide care and support to our residents who reside in the Care Centre and in accordance with all required regulations.

**Duties include**:

- **Providing exception personal care to residents in a care centre setting
- Ability to meet physical demands of the position
- Effective written and oral communication required
- Effective communication and listening skills
- Ability to meet multiple demands and time management
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision or as part of a team
- Be capable of operating lifts, tubs, and other equipment
- Maintain confidentiality at all times
- Completed WHMIS training in current standing
- Possess CRP certification or be willing to obtain this certification
- Be willing to perform other duties or assist in other areas, as required

**Skills Required**:

- Professional and caring support to our senior population
- Be an effective listener
- Multi-tasking capabilities, time management skills
- Be a self-directed individual with strong interpersonal skills
- Maintain confidentiality
- WHMIS trained
- Health Care Worker or PSW Certification. UCP certificate an asset.

**Additional Requirements**:

- Negative TB screen
- Current dated police vulnerable sector check
- Proof of receipt of COVID-19 vaccination (two-doses). Vaccination is a condition of employment, except when impossible for documented medical reasons
- Completion of mandatory training

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent, Casual

**Salary**: From $17.53 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Holidays
- Night shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Bonus pay

COVID-19 considerations:
All covid protocols are followed.
