Customer Service Representative

St Albert, Canada Riel Park RV and Mini Storage Full time

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide outstanding customer service by helping customers with their storage needs
- Perform all aspects of the rental process; including following up and closing on inquiries and leads, facility tours, collecting payments, request for information, sales and promotions, cancellations, move-outs, presenting lease agreements and other documentation
- Accurately manage cash and balance end of day activities
- Perform routine inspections of rental units to ensure all units are clean, properly locked and customer-ready
- Performing routine cleaning of office, washrooms, lunchroom, sales floor, units (vacuuming, sweeping, mopping and wiping down surfaces and equipment as required)
- Promptly identifying any deficiencies that require maintenance in the facility and bring them to the Facility Manager’s attention
- Troubleshooting of customer issues, with oversight from Management
- Accounts Receivable and performing collection calls
- Managing inventory of boxes and other merchandise, complete merchandise orders as required
- Work alongside your team members to maximize sales, marketing, occupancy, delinquency management of the facility
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with tenants, with the goal of providing superior tenant relations interactions
- Assisting to maintain and ensure a safe environment for customers and staff
- Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
- Performs other duties as required

**Qualifications**:

- _Hold a minimum of Grade 12 education_
- _Sales and customer service experience_
- _Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook_
- _Outstanding phone disposition_
- _Strong interpersonal and communication skills_
- _Ability to work independently as well as in a small team_
- _Ability to multi-task, prioritize activities and strong attention to detail_
- _Excellent troubleshooting, organizational and administrative skills_
- _Possess an outgoing and friendly personality and project a professional experience_
- _Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service_
- _Ability to handle cash_
- _Ability to perform physical duties such as but not limited to vacuuming, sweeping, mopping and wiping down surfaces/equipment_
- _Valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle_
- _A clean criminal record check_
