**Overview**

**Duties**
- Drive the improvement and expansion of the Service Department
- Ensure efficient and cost-effective functioning of the Service Department
- Oversee the work of the field technicians
- Ensure efficient and cost-effective functioning of the Service Department
- Assist clients with technical support when possible
- Develop schedules for service technicians, considering work order priorities/urgency, due dates, location, time, skills, equipment, and materials required
- Provide updates to technicians of possible changes in schedules and scope of work
- Communicate with customers and internal departments as necessary to ensure successful completion of service
- Communicate possible delays to customers
- Provide quotation support to field service technicians as required. Assist in the preparation of service quotes for customers, including contacting vendors to establish price and availability of replacement parts and/or repair items
- Issue and complete purchase orders for service department
- Complete and close work orders without delay, and provide accounting department all required information
- Collect service technicians’ time entries and work orders, ensuring accuracy and completion of notes and recommendations
- Approve service technicians’ time entries for payroll
- Present monthly financial reports for the Service Department
- Create, maintain, and track service contracts, inform customers of upcoming preventative maintenance requirements
- Initiate, and/or revise scheduling and dispatch procedures to ensure departmental efficiency, effectiveness, and customer satisfaction
- Maintain and update customer database with complete and accurate information
- Provide general administrative and office support as needed
- Perform all job functions in a safe and respectful manner, in accordance with company policies and government legislation/regulations

**Qualifications**
- 3-5 years of experience as a technical service department dispatcher/co-ordinator
- Previous experience in a leadership position
- Previous experience with engineered mechanical systems, or in plumbing/HVAC industries
- Proficient with use of computers, including Microsoft experience (Outlook, Word and Excel)
- Data entry experience
- Provide exceptional customer service
- Exercise independent judgment and take initiative
- Work effectively under pressure
- Manage conflict and problem-solve effectively
- Manage multiple tasks, using strong analytical and organizational skills
- Work independently and collaboratively, with excellent attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, in English
- Canadian citizenship, permanent resident status, or a current work visa

Pay: $70,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
