Workday Finance Consultant
Location: GTA Hybrid
Hours: 40 hours/week
Start Date: ASAP
We are seeking a Workday Finance Consultant with in-depth knowledge of the Workday Implementation Methodology and with extensive experience implementing Workday Core Finance, Procurement, Adaptive Planning, Projects, Prism and Extend modules.

Key Responsibilities:

- Facilitate workshops with Finance, IT, and other key stakeholders to capture and accurately document current and future state processes and user needs.
- Analyze existing processes to identify gaps or inefficiencies and propose solutions for improvement within the context of Workday Finance System capabilities.
- Assist the team in effectively realizing the transformation and automation objectives of the project.
- Guide stakeholders in prioritizing requirements based on business impact and feasibility.
- Convert gathered business requirements into detailed functional specifications and designs.
- Collaborate with SI and Finance SMEs to validate configurations against business needs.
- Challenge and refine SI proposals to ensure alignment with organization’s objectives and ensure control and audit considerations are met.

Must-Have Qualifications:

- 5+ years as a Business Analyst on ERP or finance transformation projects.
- Must have 3+ years hands on experience working with Workday Finance implementations.
- Functional in-depth understanding of finance processes: GL, AP, Fixed Assets, Procurement, and Budgeting & Forecasting.
- Solid finance acumen: record-to report, procure-to-pay, period close, budgeting, variance analysis, forecasting, and controls.
- Proven experience with requirements/user stories, process mapping (Visio or similar tools), user acceptance testing, and data migration.
- Strong grasp of Workday specific capabilities and features: Foundational Data Model, Business Process Framework, Security Model.
- Familiarity with best practices for cloud ERP implementation and finance process reengineering.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
