**Job Overview**
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Service Counter Attendant to join our CHICK-N-JOY team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while efficiently handling food preparation, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Your ability to manage time effectively and engage with customers will contribute to a positive experience.

**Responsibilities**
- Prepare food items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring quality and presentation.

- Provide friendly and attentive customer service, addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the food service area in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders during peak hours.
- Follow all food handling guidelines to ensure the safety and quality of food served.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant setting is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to operate a POS system; experience with Micros POS is a plus.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn about menu items and promote them effectively through upselling techniques.

Pay: From $17.20 per hour
