**JOB DESCRIPTION**

We are seeking a **Brewer** for our current & new facility.
This is an opportunity to join a rapidly blooming brand at a very exciting and pivotal moment in our company's storybook.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Produce wort within specifications in the brew house, monitoring fermentation, yeast handling;
- Cellaring activities including analytical tests, transfers, blending, centrifuging;
- Recipe development with the Lead Brewer;
- CIP brew house, tanks, and associated equipment;
- Possible operation of canning and kegging lines if required;
- Data entry, spreadsheet calculations and other analytical tasks;
- Maintain CIP checklists and other records as required;
- Maintain cleanliness of the facility;
- Handling of brewing materials as needed with power lifts, forklifts, etc.
- Undergo safety training and other training as required
- Perform cleaning and other duties as assigned;
**REQUIREMENTS**
- 2+ years professional brewing experience
- Bachelor Degree of Science, Brewing College Diploma, or sufficient Hands-on brewing experience (preferred, not required)
- General mechanical aptitude, good troubleshooting, and quick learning skills
- Knowledge of brewery’s CIP, cleaning chemicals and practices
- Math and computer skills with working knowledge of spreadsheets and word processors;
- A positive work attitude, with the ability to multitask;
- Reliable and accountable to task completion;
- Must be physically fit to be able to spend long hours standing and perform occasional medium to heavy lifting (e.g. specialty malt or hops up to 25 kgs, heavy hoses);
- Ability to work in a safe and efficient manner;
- Ability to perform duties to a high level of standard under mínimal direct supervision.

Good Robot was founded by three friends who quit their careers to live and work together as they did in school. We celebrate camaraderie which is at the heart of everything we do. And, like the founders, we are misfits - quirky, eccentric oddballs who left careers in which we felt we didn’t belong to create a community in which we do.
Good Robot is now moving onto the next phase of its growth into a 15,000sqft production facility that will be furnished with several pieces of innovative technology, new to Canada and other equipment new to the Atlantic region. With this facility, our goal is to move Good Robot across Canada and into international markets within the next 5 years through an aggressive strategic plan.
