HHB is looking for energetic students interested in being part of our Landscaping Crew. Reporting to the Landscaping Supervisor, the** Landscaper - Summer Student (temporary position)**. The job entails mowing and line trimming grass, and general gardening.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**
- Perform basic maintenance such as cutting the grass, emptying bins, managing weed control, and leaf raking.
- Work with hand tools and basic light machinery such as mowers, whipper snippers, and small diggers.
- Maintain clean grounds by clearing rubbish and litter from HHB properties.
- Other related tasks as required.

**Qualifications**
- **Must be registered as a full-time student and returning to school as a full-time student in the following school year.**:

- Must be physically able to kneel and perform garden maintenance for several hours at a time.
- Experience in the operation of small equipment, including riding a mower, line trimmer, and backpack blower.
- Able and willing to work in adverse weather conditions.
- Must have satisfactory results of employment reference checks and a criminal background check, as conditions of employment.
- Able to work efficiently and safely while exhibiting pride in quality work.
- Experience in working in a team environment.
- Punctual and dependable with a can-do attitude.

**Assets**
- Valid Class 5 Nova Scotia Driver’s License.
- Knowledge in the care and maintenance of plants, trees, shrubs, and lawns.
- Knowledge of gardening methods and tools.
