Mist Restaurant and Lounge, a premier dining destination in Ancaster, is seeking dynamic and enthusiastic individuals to join our team. We are hiring for full time/part time positions of Server/Hostess/Bartender. The position includes multiple roles as stated and on site training will be provided to the new hires. **Responsibilities**:

- **Server**:_
- Greet and seat guests in a timely manner.
- Take and serve food and drink orders accurately.
- Provide detailed menu information and make recommendations.
- Ensure guest satisfaction and handle complaints professionally.
- Coordinate with kitchen to ensure orders are served in a timely manner.
- Process payments and manage tables effectively.
- Maintain a clean and organized seating area.
- Assist with answering phone calls and taking reservations.
- Coordinate with servers and management to ensure smooth operations.
- **Hostess**:_
- Welcome and greet guests as they enter the restaurant.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements.
- Assist with answering phone calls and taking messages.
- Coordinate with servers and management to ensure smooth operations.
- Provide guests with menus and inform them of daily specials.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the hostess area.
- **Bartender**:_
- Prepare and serve drinks to customers following standard recipes
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area
- Take orders and serve food to guests seated at the bar.
- Handle all transactions (debit/credit/card) via POS system and operate the cash register as needed in an accurate manner
- Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Upsell additional beverages and recommend menu items
- Keep track of bar inventory and report shortages or discrepancies to management on a weekly basis.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in the food service or hospitality industry is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle various customer personalities
- Proficiency in basic math for handling payments accurately
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
- Servers are expected to wear the Mist custom polo uniform at all times while on duty.
- Ability to organize all front-of-house operations.
- Ability to supervise front-of-house operations.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 20 per week
