**Job Overview**

**For this Job we are seeking locals from the Elrose, SK area (Elrose, Eston or Rosetown Sk Applicants accepted)**

EMRs are essential to the medical services team, providing essential first aid, conducting health assessments, and managing emergency situations until further medical help can be secured, ensuring the well-being of everyone on-site in challenging environments.

**Roles and Responsibilities**
The primary roles and responsibilities of an EMR include but are not limited to the following:

- Maintaining all current tickets, including: H2S, First Aid Level 3, CPR, TDG, WHMIS
- Keeping up with all protocols of Advanced First Aid;
- Obeying and following first aid protocols set out by Saskatchewan College of Paramedics;
- Collecting and maintaining confidential information such as patient information;
- Providing First Aid to injured or ill workers;
- Making transportation decisions for injured workers to healthcare facilities;
- Familiarizing yourself with all the daily tasks and paperwork;
- Maintaining headcount of personnel on location;
- Being an active participant in all safety meetings;
- Ensuring all personnel on location have proper documentation;
- Following all health and safety protocols and rules;
- Operating company vehicles and using company equipment in an appropriate and safe manner.

**Physical Requirements**
- Possess and maintain a reasonable level of fitness;
- Be able to work long hours;
- Be able to work several consecutive shifts, both day and night;
- Have good observational skills;
Have normal colour vision, as many safety systems are colour-coded.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Casual

Pay: $275.00-$300.00 per day
