Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented and motivated Junior SEO Copywriter to join our growing team. As a Junior SEO Copywriter, you will play a key role in creating compelling and engaging content optimized for search engines. Your primary responsibility will be to produce high-quality copy that attracts and captivates ours and our clients’ target audience while adhering to best practices in SEO. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is passionate about writing, possesses basic knowledge of SEO principles, and is eager to grow their skills in a creative environment.

Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Content Creation: Produce well-researched, original, and high-quality written content, including blog posts, articles, website copy, newsletters, social media posts, and other marketing materials.

2. SEO Optimization: Implement basic on-page optimization techniques such as keyword research, meta tag optimization, heading tags, and internal linking to improve the visibility and organic ranking of ours and our clients web content.

3. Keyword Research: Conduct keyword research to identify relevant and high-impact keywords for content creation and ensure optimal keyword density and distribution.

4. Content Planning: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop content strategies and editorial calendars aligned with SEO objectives and target audience interests.

5. Proofreading and Editing: Review and revise written content for grammar, clarity, and adherence to brand guidelines to ensure error-free and polished copy.

6. Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze key SEO metrics using tools like Google Analytics to identify opportunities for improvement and measure the success of implemented strategies.

7. SEO Best Practices: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, algorithm updates, and SEO best practices to continually enhance content quality and organic visibility.

8. Collaboration: Collaborate with other team members to ensure content aligns with overall brand messaging and objectives.

9. Reporting: Prepare monthly reports on SEO performance, content engagement, and traffic metrics to communicate results and recommend actionable insights.

10. Continuous Learning: Proactively seek opportunities for professional growth and stay informed about emerging SEO & AI search trends, techniques, and tools.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.

2. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with excellent attention to detail and grammar.

3. Basic understanding of SEO principles, including keyword research, on-page optimization, and content structure.

4. Familiarity with e-commerce platforms (Shopify, Squarespace, Wix) and SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Moz) and ChatGPT.

5. Ability to conduct research and synthesize information from multiple sources into engaging and informative content.

6. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

7. Creative thinking and the ability to adapt writing style and tone based on target audience and brand guidelines.

8. Self-motivated and eager to learn, with a growth mindset and a willingness to take on new challenges.

9. Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript is a plus.

10. Previous experience in copywriting, content creation, or digital marketing is desirable but not mandatory.
