The Custodian is responsible for a variety of maintenance, cleaning, and sanitation projects within West Edmonton Mall.

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Performing the daily cleaning and maintenance duties for West Edmonton Mall’s common areas, food courts, washrooms, and offices.
- Ensuring all set standards of cleanliness are adhered to at all times.
- Checking all areas for any deficiencies and damages, and reporting them to a Supervisor.
- Ensuring WHMIS guidelines are followed at all times.
- Other responsibilities as required.

**Desired Qualifications**:

- Previous cleaning experience is an asset.
- Must be self-motivated and be able to work independently.
- The ability to stand and walk for up to 8 hours a day.
- Excellent communication, and customer service skills complemented by a strong sense of professionalism and a keen eye for detail.

**Terms of Employment**:

- This is a temporary position starting in June and ending on or before September 7, 2021.
- Requires a flexible schedule Monday through Sunday, days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
- This position pays applicable minimum wage.
- Must be able to pass a basic security clearance.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 2 months

**Salary**: $15.00 per hour
