Salon Receptionist

Hours: Weekdays and Weekend availability a must

Applicants must:

- speak fluent English
- have great customer service skills
- be willing to train and learn about the services that we offer
- salon/spa experience a must
- attention to detail and multi-tasking a must
- organized and can work independently
- friendly and personable

Applicants will be required to:

- Answer calls - be sure to check the voice mail throughout the day
- Use Booker to schedule appointments, check Guests in/out, complete orders
- Manage flow of Guests
- Process all sales/collect payment on all orders - be sure sales are assigned to the appropriate team member and that all prices are correct
- Keep the front desk tidy and ensure proper signage is neatly displayed E.g. product of the month, membership offers, monthly member perks.
- Ensure bar is kept sparkling clean Floors are routinely swept and clear of debris.
- Increase average ticket price by recommending additional service opportunities both at the time of booking, when confirming appointments, in-bar (when time permits) and at checkout (recommend for future appointments) E.g. Makeup, treatments, head massages, new service offerings
- Drive repeat business by informing Guests of rebooking offers (dry style), membership program, gift cards/tabs and current promotions
- Drive retail sales by recommending products and/or asking Guests if they would like to take home any of the products that their stylist recommended/are outlined on their prescription pads (when applicable)

**Salary**: $15.00-$20.00 per hour

- 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Milton, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Front desk: 1 year (required)
- Administrative experience: 1 year (preferred)
