The key responsibilities of the GIS/Business Analyst include:

- Leveraging technology, GIS tools and a wide range of data to solve complex business challenges;
- Become an Sitewise product expert and be a technical resource for other business analysts;
- Identify, research, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues by collaborating with development and cross functional teams;
- Assisting clients in the post-implementation phase, providing on-going guidance, training and troubleshooting;
Key Requirements for consideration:

- Strong, proven analytical and technical skills;
- Experience working with databases, and SQL;
- Experience with or exposure to working in Python or R;
- Comfortable working with Microsoft Excel;
- 2 to 5 years of work experience; and
- Technical Diploma or a Bachelor’s degree;
The following would be considered assets but not requirements:

- Exposure to Geographic Information Systems (MapInfo/ArcGIS) and ETL tools (FME/Alteryx), and/or Tableau;
- Experience in, and/or exposure to, market research, retail analytics and data science modeling; and
- Experience with customer relations.

Additional Notes:

- The applicant must be already located in Canada, and eligible to work in Canada.
- Work in a hybrid environment between our office (Vancouver) and home working.
- This is a full-time, permanent position (37.5 hours per week) commencing as soon as possible.
- Standard working week - Monday to Friday, regular business hours.

**Salary**: $55,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
