Lacoste Garden Centres growing boutique is looking for part time and full time Boutique Associates We need a outgoing individual who enjoys working with customers. A person with a creative nature and a flare for styling all aspects of their life. Someone who can maintain product knowledge on a wide breadth of products and keeps up to date with current trends in fashion, lifestyle products and décor. An individual who is self motivated and capable of working effectively independently.
**Boutique Associate Job Summary**
The boutique associate will assist our customers with product selection and styling. Providing our customers with knowledge of the products that they are purchasing. You will be building trust and connection with clients. They will also maintain the store appearance so that we can provide a clean, welcoming, and inspiring shopping experience.
**Boutique Associate Duties and Responsibilities**
- Establishing and maintaining connections with clientele through rapport and service
- Guide and give advice to customers on product selection
- Assist shoppers locate the products or specific Brands they are looking for
- Operating POS to take payment, perform refunds and other transactions
- Running fitting rooms and ensuring customers get the assistance they need while trying on
- Participate in stock management and control including receiving, pricing, and merchandising of new goods.
- Keep the store clean and tidy; this includes mopping, dusting vacuuming and maintaining overall merchandising standards
**Boutique Associate Requirements and Qualifications**
- At least 2 years in clothing or housewares sales
- Experience working independently
- Strong communication skills; written and verbal
- Engaging and outgoing personality
- Passionate about fashion and trends
- Can remain effective during fast paced periods as well as quiet periods
