For more information on WPSHC, please visit our website. **About the Opportunity**: WPSHC currently has an opening for a **Community Paramedicine Program Support** **to join our organization. The Community Paramedicine Support provides essential support services to the Community Paramedicine Program, enabling paramedics to focus on patient care by handling various program duties. The role is essential in ensuring the efficient and effective operation of community paramedicine programs, focusing on patient care, remote monitoring, and coordination of various community services. **Primary Responsibilities**: - Assist with planning and developing Community Paramedicine programs. Work with the Community Paramedic team to ensure efficient and cost-effective program management. - Liaise with community organizations and services to develop, deliver, and enhance community programs. - Review satisfaction surveys, data collection techniques, and performance indicators. - Assist the Community Paramedicine Superintendent with day-to-day operations, including reporting and database maintenance. - In consultation with the Community Paramedicine Superintendent, assist in developing and implementing policies, procedures, and protocols to meet client and community needs. - Receive patient referrals and create detailed profiles in the community paramedicine Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system and support discharge processes when appropriate. - Monitor Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) systems, track patient compliance, and action alerts as necessary. Escalate issues to community paramedics promptly. - Oversee and coordinate Project Lifesaver clients and accounts, ensuring all related processes run smoothly. - Assist in the day-to-day administration of programs under the Community Paramedicine Superintendent including special projects and accreditation preparation. **More About You**: To qualify for the role, you will need to have: - Completion of a post-secondary diploma in Administrative Assistance, Office Management, or a related field. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. - Minimum two (2) years of experience in an administrative or secretarial role, preferably within a health care setting. - Previous experience with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems and medical terminology is highly desirable. - Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with a diverse range of people, including patients, staff, and external stakeholders. - Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. - Demonstrated satisfactory attendance levels, work performance, disciplinary history, and positive work references. **Please note**:For the safety and well-being of our clients and employees, we require proof of COVID-19 vaccination before commencing employment.
