_**Produce Specialist**_

Reporting to the Produce Department Manager, the Produce Specialist is responsible for Cutting, packaging and stocking fruit, vegetables and salads.

**What You Bring to Our Team**:

- Produce experience is considered an asset but not required
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organization skills
- Ability to lift heavy loads
- Flexible availability from 6 am until 8:30 pm, seven days a week
- Good knife skills
- Creativity is an asset

- Provide courteous, friendly and efficient customer service
- Ensure a positive, friendly and supportive work environment
- Answer telephone calls and receive orders
- Assist in unloading deliveries and check for accuracy and freshness
- Ensure proper storage and organization of inventory
- Create, maintain and rotate product displays
- Assist the cashiers by running cash registers when required
- Maintain impeccable cleanliness of retail and back room space
- Assist in training new team members
- Attend occasional staff meetings
- Follow and ensure government regulations, company policies and procedures
- Learn closing procedures of store and act as a fill in when required
- Other assigned duties as they may arise

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $16.55-$17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 - 40 per week
