**Responsibilities**:
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Operate the high pressure water pump.
- Operate the high pressure hose line.
- Operate truck-mounted vacuum pump.
- Know the location of all valves and pumps.
- Transport cargo and/or equipment in a safe manner
- Use varius equipment to move and install material according to project plans
- Complete Driver's logbook & daily vehicl inspection (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip) maintenance and repair reports, accidents or incident reports
- Diagnose minor mechanical issues and perform minor repairs as required
- Read and interpret locates
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 6 months previous experienc in a similar role
- Fully proficient in operation of a Hydro Vac Truck
- High school dipoma or GED
- Valid DZ Ontarioo drivers license with clean driving record for 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 80lbs
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Good communication skills with the ability to work independantly or in a team
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to perform the physical demands of the positions work tasks.
- These include but are not limited to working outdoors and in confined spaces, movement of equipment and/or materials, frequent climbing of ladders, frequent liftin and pulling of telecommunication cable in excess of 15lbs.
- Attention to detail required.
- Will be required to stand for extended periods of time.
- All employees will be required to receive applicable health and safety training on an ongoing basis as per legislative and job requirements.
