Cabinet Maker

We are seeking multiple **Cabinet Makers**to join our growing team. **You must have proven experience as a cabinet maker**, with expertise in all aspects of cabinetry production.

**The work you will do**:

- quality craftsmanship and working on custom projects.
- Construction and Assembly:

- Review architectural drawings, shop drawings, plans, and specifications to build materials.
- Select appropriate materials, including wood, veneers, and hardware.
- Measure, cut, shape, and prepare materials using hand tools, power tools, and machinery.
- Assemble custom cabinets, furniture, and millwork including frames, doors etc. using joinery techniques and equipment.
- Ensure all pieces meet design specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.
- Trim or reinforce joints and fit parts and subassemblies together to form complete unit.
- Solid surface fabrication for countertops and architectural features
- Load/unload trucks and handle construction materials.
- Clean and lubricate machinery and equipment and perform regular maintenance.
- Follow all safety procedures and promote a safe work environment.

**Experience and certifications required**:

- Prior experience in woodworking and cabinetry or a related trade
- Trade certification (ie. Cabinetry, carpentry, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of woodworking techniques, tools, and materials.
- Ability to read and interpret Shop drawings, blueprints, sketches, and design specifications.
- Proficiency with woodworking machinery, including saws, routers, and planers
- Physical ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Public transportation is not available.
- Must be willing and able to successfully achieve WHMIS, First Aid, Forklift, and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) training certificates.

**Tools & Equipment you may use**:

- Computerized woodworking and computer numerical control (CNC) machines
- Edge bander, drill and dowel inserting machine, case clamp
- Drills, routers, sanders, saws, hand tools
- Sliding table saw
- Air compressors, nail guns, air guns
- Paint sprayer equipment
- Forklift

**Where you will work & the work conditions**:

- Shop environment with occasional outside work
- Fast paced, deadline driven schedule
- Regular exposure to dust and noise
- Standing for extended periods
- Tasks require manual dexterity
- Regularly lifting/carrying up to 50lbs and occasionally up to 100lbs
- 40-50 hours per week. Dayshifts with some weekend work.
