Location: Aurora, ON

**As a Milling Machine Operator, You Will**:

- Operate and run ground controls on milling machine
- Mill, maintain, and monitor a desired depth/slope
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of required safety paperwork and logbooks
- Measure areas & quantities milled daily and complete required reports
- Assist with machinery maintenance as required
- Ensure the cleanliness of the equipment as per Miller standards
- Assist with clean up at the end of each pass for production efficiency
- Look ahead for any interruptions in progress and deal with them accordingly
- Float machinery to and from worksites

**What You’ll Bring**:

- Valid Class G driver’s license with Driver’s Abstract meeting Miller expectations
- Class DZ or AZ driver’s license considered asset
- Experience with Milling Machines will be considered an asset, but training will be provided
- Knowledge with computers/electric over hydraulic is an asset
- Knowledge of grades: cross slope, super elevations, offset grades, swales etc. is an asset
- Highway construction signage/safety awareness an asset
- Mechanical/welding experience is an asset
- Effective team player
- Adhere to all safety and ethics guidelines
- Ability to travel for a minimum of a week at a time
- Travel is required and will also require weekend work
