Delivering new housing often requires developers to relocate residents from buildings undergoing redevelopment to new homes, all in compliance with tenant relocation and protection policies in any given jurisdiction. Anthem’s goal and commitment is to meet all residents where they are, and to successfully relocate individuals, where required, to new homes with a high degree of empathy, compassion, courtesy and respect for each individual and their unique circumstances.

We are seeking a Tenant Support and Community Relations Specialist to join the Anthem team and bring their expertise, authenticity, and diplomacy to this challenging work. You will lead the tenant relocation process and be the main point of contact and liasison for residents. You will be known for being respectful and fair, while also being resourceful and solutions oriented while working within the required timelines and policy and guidelines set out in the various jurisdictions where Anthem has a presence. You will also be supporting Anthem’s Community Relations process through various public engagement and communication efforts.

**You will**
- Support Anthem’s Director of Community Relations and the Vertical Development House Team.
- Be a contributing team member on development projects in Anthem’s real estate portfolio.
- Lead Anthem’s tenant support and relocation process, including:

- Develop and implement tenant relocation strategies.
- Liaise with municipal authorities and ensure compliance with relevant tenant relocation policies.
- Serve as the main point of contact for tenants during the relocation process.
- Create communication material and coordinate relocation benefits for tenants.
- Work directly with tenants, either independently or with the support of a 3rd party tenant relocation consultant, to ensure their successful relocation.
- Support Anthem’s community relations process, including:

- Help develop community engagement programs to support the approval of Anthem’s real estate projects.
- Plan and attend various community and public information meetings and contribute to a project’s Public Hearing process.
- Support Anthem’s charitable giving team and execute on Anthem’s giving strategy.

**You have**
- Experience working in a public facing role or with people who have diverse and complex needs
- Post-Secondary Education
- Minimum five (5) years relevant full-time work experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to create clear and concise communication material for tenants and other external stakeholders (e.g. power point presentations, project fact sheets, etc.)
- Excellent time-management, presentation, and communication skills
- Ability to commit to occasional evening and weekend work
