From carefully reviewing and preparing classes and preparing supplies to offer hands-on assistance during workshops, your role is instrumental in creating an engaging learning environment.

The excitement doesn't stop there. As a Workshop Instructor, you play a crucial role in the post-workshop scene, ensuring a seamless transition for the next one. Your attention to detail shines during cleanup, setting the stage for the next captivating session. Collaborate with our retail staff, immersing yourself in a team that values excellence and creativity in equal measure.

**This position requires the flexibility to teach out of our Sherwood Park and St Albert Locations**

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Instructing participants and assistants when needed
- Regularly checking the workshop schedule
- Reviewing workshop topics in advance of the scheduled workshops
- Preparing workshop supplies in advance
- Ensuring that the workshop area has all of the necessary supplies
- Setting up the workshop space
- Signing participants in upon arrival
- Communicating with other retail staff if/when additional help is needed (i.e., during clean-up)
- Clean-up of the workshop space in a way that sets the next workshop up for success
- Approving workshop payment forms
- Other duties as required to ensure workshops are run smoothly

**Qualification and Skills**
- Previous experience teaching workshops or classes
- Excellent verbal communication
- Available to work on weekends and occasionally evenings
- Comfortable with public speaking
- Can lift up to 50lbs repetitively if required
- Thrives in a team setting
- Positive attitude
- Ability to work and adapt in a fast-paced environment
