We are looking for a motivated, responsible person who has a strong commitment to working with children with disabilities. As a **Community Support Worker (CSW)**, you will support families in need of home respite care by helping children and youth to participate in a range of social, recreational, and educational activities to improve their abilities, independence, and inclusion within the community. Someone who is imaginative, flexible to changing requirements, and engaged with children is needed for the position.
**Duties & Responsibilities**:(but not limited to)
- **YOU MUST be able to lift and transfer approx. 130lbs**:
- Providing Personal Care
- Client needs a redirection approach and positive environment
- **THIS IS A SCENT FREE HOME -LOOKING FOR NON SMOKERS AND NO PERFUMES WORN**
**Qualifications & Experience**:
- A minimum of two (2) years of experience working with youth with disabilities
- Medication Administration
- Crisis Intervention Training
- Certification in Standard First Aid/CPR
- Lifts and Transfers
- Food Safety Training
- HCA background an asset
**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual
**Salary**: $19.00-$23.00 per hour

- 12 hour shift
- 4 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Weekend availability
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Spruce Grove, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
