Sandwich Artist and Cashier

**Job Overview**
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Sandwich Maker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality sandwiches and providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment. Your attention to detail and commitment to food safety will ensure that our customers enjoy delicious meals made with fresh ingredients.

**Responsibilities**
- Prepare specialty drinks - Latte/Cappuccino
- Prepare sandwiches and other food items according to established recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and food preparation areas, adhering to sanitation guidelines.
- Operate the Micros POS system for order processing and cash handling accurately.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and upselling menu items.
- Ensure proper food handling techniques are followed to maintain food safety standards.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of ingredients and supplies.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations during peak hours.
- Perform basic math calculations for order accuracy and cash transactions.

**Qualifications**
- Experience making specialty drinks - Latte and Cappuccino
- Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant environment is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and safety regulations.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Customer service-oriented with a friendly demeanor and strong communication skills.
- Experience with cashiering, including cash handling and basic math skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Familiarity with sanitation practices and food handling guidelines is essential.

Pay: $18.00-$18.50 per hour
