**Workday Technical Associate Consultant**
Strada partners with clients to enable organizational transformation through the deployment of Workday, a next generation Software as a Service (SaaS)-based solution.
As a **Workday Technical Associate Consultant**, you will collaborate with customers to transform their workforce experience, improve business processes to meet the needs of a changing world, and implement new technology that empowers organizations to make sustainable decisions.
**Workday Technical Associate Consultants** play an integral role by working with multiple clients across a wide spectrum of industries and locations to address business challenges and needs while also deploying or providing ongoing Workday support. **A typical day can include the following**:
- Partnering with clients to gather technical requirements, design solutions, and understand their strategic vision
- Participating in the delivery of Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) and Financial solutions, including but not limited to:
- Managing data conversion activities
- Building and unit testing Workday integrations
- Resolving data errors and debugging integrations or reports
- Developing reports and analyzing data
- Leveraging problem solving skills to manage issues and risks
- Testing and troubleshooting common business scenarios and requirements to ensure the Workday solution meets client needs
- Collaborating with other teams within the organization to improve business processes and solve cross functional issues
- Monitoring progress of tasks against a project plan and communicating status updates on key deliverables
- Developing communications and training to drive organizational adoption of Workday
- Participating in internal Strada initiatives to support innovation and enable continuous career growth
- Providing consultation and expertise in one of the following areas _(alignment will be determined by business need, interest, and skills):_
- Data Conversions
- Integrations
- Extend
- Reporting
**Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities**:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Clear and articulate oral and written communication skills
- Detail-oriented
- Project management skills
- Ability to work and learn independently as well as on a team
- Willingness to learn new tools, technologies, computer software, and methodologies
- Ability to work under pressure and strict deadlines
- Adaptable and understands that change is constant and necessary to consistently excel
- Desire to grow your career as a consultant
- Comfortable with MS Office Suite programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
- ** Technical**: Knowledge of at least one programming skill (e.g., XML, XLST, SQL, HTML etc.) or familiarity with object-oriented programming
**Education and Experience**:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Open to various majors, but Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS), Information Technology (IT), Mathematics, Engineering, & Data Analytics preferred
- 1-3 years of relevant work experience AND/OR an advanced professional degree (e.g., Master’s degree)
- Experience interacting with clients or customers preferred
