**RESPONSIBILITIES**

We are seeking a Plant Controller who will play a pivotal role in guiding financial decisions, optimizing cost structures, and supporting continuous improvement across the site. A true business partner to the plant leadership team, leveraging data analytics and financial insights to shape operational strategy and performance.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to plant management, driving operational efficiency and cost control through financial insight.
- Analyze performance trends and identify opportunities for improvement, supporting the development of actionable solutions.
- Lead the creation, communication, and monitoring of plant-specific KPIs to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Educate operations leaders on financial drivers and empower them to make informed decisions.
- Ensure accurate accounting of inventory, capital assets, and operating costs.
- Lead budgeting and forecasting processes in collaboration with plant leadership.
- Deliver timely and accurate financial projections to support strategic planning.
- Conduct rigorous variance analysis and communicate findings clearly to stakeholders.
- Oversee the preparation and presentation of monthly financial reports and reviews.
- Champion capital planning, monitor project expenditures, and ensure timely asset capitalization.
- Provide detailed financial analysis to support decision-making on spending and operational performance.
- Support sector-level initiatives to improve business processes and financial outcomes.
- Maintain a robust internal control environment to mitigate operational and financial risks.
- Share best practices across the Packaging Group and contribute to a culture of financial excellence.

**REQUIREMENTS**
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
- 7-10 years of progressive experience in managerial accounting, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Strong background in variance analysis and cost accounting.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with SAP is highly preferred.
- Exceptional analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives.
- Proven ability to influence and gain buy-in across cross-functional teams.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- CPA designation is highly desirable.
