**Your Role**:
**Must Haves and The Work**:
- Bilingual - Fluent in French
- Ability to work independently to solve problems but also be able to work as a team member with other THINK Underwriters and Closers as well as our partners the True North Mortgage Agents and Mortgage Insurance Partners
- Fast paced environment, must be able to keep current with changes with lenders and the real estate market
- History of delivering an extraordinary experience for your clients (internal and external) with a focus on results
- Strong decision-making skills to convey solutions to areas of concern
- Document clear and concise notes within the mortgage underwriting system
- Provide timely and accurate credit decisions.
- Proven ability handling difficult situations and use of good judgement based on experience and knowledge
- Experience in the Mortgage or Real Estate Business an asset
- 2-5 years previous Mortgage Underwriting experience
- Intermediate MS Office tools such as Word, Excel, Outlook and Slack
