**Job Scope**:
Operate metalworking machines, which shape and form metal into parts or products. Required to perform a variety of tasks involving physical labour in a manufacturing environment including operation and maintenance of machine tools and material handling, packaging, clean-up and other activities as needed. Responsible for the efficient production of products according to established procedures in a safe manner following all workplace policies. Need to be adaptable, flexible, accountable and dependable, with good attention to detail, have a quality focus and work well with others.

**Responsibilities**:

- Operate one or more light or heavy metalworking machines
- May assist or perform set-up
- Ensure safe work practices are employed at all times
- Follow written procedures, verbal instructions and complete documentation as required
- Monitor production to ensure product quality meets required specifications
- May be required to perform material handling duties manually, via crane, hoist or lift truck
- Lubricate, clean, maintain and repair machinery, equipment, and tools as required
- Clean up and preparation of work area
- Follow Company policies, best practices and procedures
- Perform other duties as required by the department supervisor

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum grade 12 or equivalent
- Previous manufacturing experience
- Experience working with quality systems (preferably TS 16949)

**Working Conditions**:

- Indoor factory environment
- Physically able to lift up to 22 kg (50 lbs)
- Shift work in a factory environment
- Some repetition
- Appropriate PPE must be worn

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $37,000.00-$39,500.00 per year
