Sales Representative

**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Demonstrate product knowledge and effectively communicate features and benefits.
- Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Utilize phone etiquette to handle customer inquiries, follow up on leads, and manage multiple accounts.
- Maintain an organized sales plan to enhance the customer experience.
- Stay updated on current promotions, products, and industry trends to provide informed recommendations to adjust to changing priorities and market conditions.
- Provide customers with product samples and catalogs.
- Prepare estimates, and proposals that meet specific customer needs.
- Identify prospective customers by using business directories, following leads from existing clients, participating in organizations and clubs, and attending trade shows and conferences.
- Consult with clients after sales or contract signings to resolve problems and to provide ongoing support.
- Meet established monthly quotas and sales goals through generating new leads, managing account portfolio, upselling and cross selling.
- Negotiation.

**Qualifications**
- Strong knowledge/experience in either meat or sales is required, or a combination of both.
- Experience in food service/restaurant and retail an asset.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively and must be clear and concise with verbal and written communication.
- Uses persuasive sales techniques to close deals and handles objections effectively and understands target segments and market trends and adapts strategies to customer needs.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn are essential for success in this role.

Salary/Commission structure to be negotiated based on product and/or sales knowledge and experience.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $45,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
