**Here's what we offer**:

- Start date: December 2024;
- Job type: Full-time, contractual until the end of March 2025;
- Schedule: 40 hours guaranteed according to operational needs;
- Hourly salary $40;
**The responsibilities associated with the position consist of**:

- Operating a 10-wheel truck equipped with a scraper and a salt spreader and any other equipment required for snow removal work, using appropriate guidance methods;
- Inspecting and maintaining vehicles, in accordance with the department's preventive maintenance program and current laws;
- Carrying out operations safely;
- Monitoring weather conditions and patrolling the road network; Carrying out any other tasks assigned to him by his immediate superior or aimed at meeting any specific expectations that may be communicated to him by the latter.
- **Requirements and skills wanted**:

- Possess a class 3 driver’s license (class 1 is an asset);
- Have professional experience in snow removal on winter roads;
- Snow removal skills card (an asset);
- Excellent work planning and organization skills;
- Good health and physical endurance (the employer reserves the right to require a medical check-up);
- Autonomy, sense of initiative, rigor and resourcefulness;
- Great availability;
- Any skills card will be considered an asset.
