**Position**: Sales Support - Office & Parts Counter
**About Us**:
Clark Ag Systems is a family-owned Poultry Equipment supplier committed to providing high-quality products and exceptional service. We are looking for an enthusiastic, organized, and reliable Sales Support professional to join our team. This role combines office administration and customer-facing support at our parts counter.
**Job Summary**:
As a Sales Support professional, you will be responsible for running the day-to-day operations of the office and assisting customers at the parts counter. Your duties will include managing inventory, handling customer inquiries, processing orders, and ensuring the smooth operation of the office environment.
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Parts Counter Duties**:
- Greet and assist customers in-person and over the phone with product inquiries and sales.
- Process customer orders, returns, and exchanges efficiently.
- Provide product recommendations and technical assistance when needed.
- Maintain organized parts displays and ensure proper stock levels at the counter.
- Process payments and handle cash/credit transactions.
- Prepare and process customer orders, purchase orders, and invoices.
- Coordinate shipping and receiving of products and materials.
- Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment.
- Ensure that all parts are accurately labeled and tagged for easy identification.
**Sales Support**:
- Prepare sales reports and maintaining records of quotations and transactions.
- Support the sales team with administrative tasks such as quoting and communications.
- Work with sub-distributors for quoting, reporting and contract administration.
**Customer Service & Relations**:
- Build and maintain positive relationships with customers and vendors.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing concerns and resolving issues in a timely manner.
**Qualifications**:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in business or related fields is a plus
- Prior experience in sales support, customer service, or parts counter roles preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with office software (MS Office Suite, Google Workspace) and basic point-of-sale systems.
- Ability to lift and carry items up to 30 lbs.
- Knowledge of parts and inventory management systems is a plus.
