Operate and maintain the Royal Glenora Club Ice Arena in a condition of excellence, ensuring that the highest quality of ice is always available for full usage.
- Perform ice resurfacing; operate Zamboni and ice edger; record ice measurements; flooding, patching, building and repairing ice as required.
- Prepare skating surfaces for each scheduled event, i.e. scoreboards, nets; adjust lighting and music, bumpers, etc.
- Check Zamboni’s fluid level, tires, battery daily, and change blade weekly.
- Perform ice making, ice painting, ice removal duties, facility painting, and dasher board glass installation.
- Use LogCheck Building Maintenance system and other software to maintain ice plant and track preventative maintenance items.
- Deliver outstanding service to members at all times; addressing member concerns immediately; seeking input on an ongoing basis, taking appropriate action on all suggestions and concerns.
- Participate in keeping all areas of the Ice Arena Facility neat and tidy during operations.
- Monitor all factors regarding safety and the security in the Ice Arena Facility
- Maintain all adjacent areas to the arena exterior including entranceways and locker rooms.
- Assist with the setup and tear down of special events
- Assist with snow removal when needed
- Assist Maintenance staff and conduct routine and assigned maintenance repairs throughout the facilities.
- Update all hazard assessments as required and follow all Health and Safety Policies
- Be familiar with all Evacuation Procedures involving the back area of the building
- Personal/professional conduct demonstrates RGC Core Values and Code of Conduct. Demonstrates ethical principles in all daily activities.
- Assumes personal responsibility for professional development. Actively promotes development of self and others through participation in professional organizations, educational opportunities, etc.

**Salary**: $19.00-$21.00 per hour
