We are looking for a full-time, skilled and enthusiastic **Machinist** to join our team.

**_Key Responsibilities_** (include but are not limited to the following):

- Machining parts for jobbing, products and repair work for new machinery and/or refurbishment of existing machinery
- Operation of manual lathes, milling machines, horizontal boring mills, and vertical boring mills
- Those with CNC skills in operating CNC machining centers & CNC horizontal boring mills - would be considered an asset, though not required

**_Key Competencies and Qualifications_**:

- Minimum 8 years’ experience in the Machining trade
- Able to verify dimensions of machined parts
- Good understanding of mechanical drawings
- Able to produce accurate precision parts
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Good organization skills
- Detail oriented
- Mechanical aptitude
- Safety conscious with safe work habits

**_Education:_**
- Completion of high school
- Post-secondary, vocational or technical training preferred
