French and English Instructor

- Extensive knowledge and background in French and/or English
- Graduate of a Bachelors program or in senior years with good academic standing
- Familiarity with the current Ontario Curriculum
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Experienced tutor/teacher is preferred
- Must be able to work in a team
- Available from 4 - 8 pm on weekdays and/or 10 - 4 pm on weekend
**Responsibilities**:
- Responsible for teaching individuals /small groups of students
- Classroom management: prepare coursework materials, homework assignments, and handouts
- Evaluate the student’s class work and assignments (i.e: grade tests, lab reports and other assignments)
- Offer advice on further learning and progression opportunities to students as required
- Provide students with feedback in line with the faculty assessment systems
- Work with the directors to create individualized lesson plans to meet identified learning goals
- Communicate with director, students, and parents on a constant basis to discuss student progress
