Dessert Holdings is looking for a **Full Time Production / Relief Sanitation** to join our team based in London, ON. This individual will be responsible for of making sure that our cleaning policies and procedures are followed, including adhering to a set of standard operating procedures for efficiently sanitizing the facility and its equipment.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:_(This is a full-time production role that provides Sanitation backup when needed)_
- Daily performance of sanitation duties including cleaning and sanitizing throughout the plant in all production areas - dismantling, cleaning, and sanitizing processing equipment
- Sanitation and housekeeping functions throughout the plant including wastewater treatment, garbage, spiral freezer, and clean in place (CIP)
- Working both inside and outside the plant
- Understanding the principles of the master cleaning schedule, dispensing of chemical cleaning solutions, meeting quality control guidelines, and following department procedures
- Must be able to stand on your feet for 8 hours and complete repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Identifying equipment problems and working cooperatively with maintenance and set-up
- Communicating effectively with other departments to work together to achieve organizational goals.

**QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS**:

- High School Diploma is preferred.
- Must be legally eligible to work full-time in Canada.
- Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment is an asset.
- Scissor lift experience preferred.
- Ability to work with all chemical cleaning agents including fungicides and possible insecticides.
- Ability to perform some heavy lifting up to 50lbs, climb stairs, navigate around manufacturing equipment, and work with a sense of urgency.
- Excellent attendance record, demonstrating reliability.
- Strong initiative to achieve results.
- Ability to communicate clearly in English.
- Team player, adaptable, energetic with a positive professional attitude
- Ability to work with limited or no supervision.

**Shift Summary**:

- Required to be available for a minimum of five shifts per week from Monday to Saturday, with Saturdays being a regularly required shift.
- All the shifts are rotational and run for 8 hours with a 30-minute break added.

**Schedule**:

- Schedules are posted 2 weeks in advance.
- Must be able to accommodate all the starting times on the specified shift.
- Start times could be different every day,
- ** A-Shift start times are between 1:00 am - 6:00 am**

**What We Offer**:
**Pay Rate**:While performing Production role, probationary rate per hour is $19.96 and full rate is $22.18.

***While performing** **Sanitation role, probationary rate per hour is $20.97 and full rate is $23.30.
