French Speaking Food Processing Workers

Overview (English Portal):
**French speaking food processing workers - specialized in charcuterie** to complete the teams of our business partners located in the regions of Quebec.

Responsibilities (English Portal):
- Tasks are repetitive, manual dexterity, standing for long periods of time;- Work is performed in a hot, wet or humid environment;- Transport raw materials, finished goods and packaging materials;- Place cardboard pieces into box forming machines;- Manually load goods into bags, boxes or other containers;- Feeding and unloading machines;- Checks products and packages for basic product quality defects;- Clean machines and work areas;- Work at arm's length and squat or kneel;- Set up and adjust vertical packaging machine for start of operations and during production;- Respect the production schedule and ensure the conformity of the packaged products;- Be able to detect anomalies, solve certain problems and contact the maintenance department if necessary;- Participate in the various cleaning and maintenance activities of the equipment;- Complete all required records;- Prepare orders according to the forms provided by telemarketing;- Respect the health and safety rules;- Perform final palletization of products to be put in inventory and orders;- Finalize purchase orders and prepare packing slips;- Validate the correspondence between purchase orders, packing slips and shipped pallets;- Plan, organize and execute transfers between the different warehouses;- Plan, organize and perform transfers between different warehouses; Perform the reception of inputs and ensure that internal rules are- respected;- Participate and/or perform inventory counts;- Ensure the management of storage sites by ensuring, among other things, the maintenance of order and inventory management;- Complete cleaning of the bathrooms;- Washing floors, dusting, cleaning in offices, break room and other areas;- Emptying garbage and recycling;- Management of work clothes;- Other maintenance and cleaning to be done as needed.- Performs and coordinates the cleaning of equipment and facilities to ensure cleanliness prior to use by meeting the standards established by the quality department;- Performs end of shift inspection to ensure cleanliness of equipment and facilities and properly completes all documentation provided by the- Quality Department regarding cleanings;- Participate in discussions with the Quality and Production Departments to make adjustments to the sanitation program for continuous improvement;- Report any anomalies to the maintenance department;

Qualifications (English Portal):
**Level of education**: High School/College. A formation course will be a plus.

**Years of related experience**: Minimum 2 years of experience.

**Qualifications**:

- Must have no restrictions when assuming the following postures: forward bending, backward extension, side bending, twisting, left to right trunk rotation (repetitive motion), working at arm's length, and squatting or kneeling.

- The work is done in a hot, wet or humid environment

**Languages required**: French

**Salary**: $Can 16.67/hour

(160 hours per month)

**Available schedules (excluding traffic)**:

- The work schedule is on 2 shifts per day, either from 6am to 2:30pm or from 2pm to 10:30pm.
- Occasionally there may be a night shift from 10pm to 6:30am.
- Each shift has 2 paid 15 minute breaks and 30 minutes of unpaid lunch.
- Shift of 8 hours per day for a total of 40 hours per week.
- Shifts are possible from Sunday to Saturday, operations are maintained 7 days a week. A minimum of 2 consecutive days off per week.
