System Administrator

Alteo is looking for a Systems Administrator for a permanent position based in Montreal (downtown).

** Hybrid : 1 day / week at the office **

You will be responsible for the evolution of technologies and ensure the proper management of infrastructures, servers and networking in order to optimize the organization's systems. You will also be a key player in strategic projects by identifying, recommending, implementing and managing technology solutions to enable the organization to achieve its business objectives.

**Responsibilities**:

- Be responsible for the management, update and development activities of technologies related to infrastructure, servers and networking
- Administer environments to ensure availability, reliability, security and integrity of systems as well as their evolution and optimization
- Ensure the proper functioning and security of systems and the data they contain at all times, manage breakdowns and incidents while keeping stakeholders informed
- Update, periodically test and optimize IT succession plans;
- Be the technical point of contact with suppliers, when required for the proper management of the systems
- Collaborate in the robustness of the systems, through configuration analysis, testing, follow-up and adjustments
- With the IT team, identify and deploy improvements to evolve the systems and IT infrastructure

**Profile**:

- DEC in IT or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience in systems administration
- Concrete experience in the use of the following technologies:

- Windows, Azure and Office 365 environment
- IIS, MSSQL Server, Hyper-V Virtualization
- Fortigate, Forticlient EMS, SentinelOne, Taegis VDR
- Communication system Zoom and Microsoft Teams
- Automation and management with Powershell
- Backup and replication with Veeam
- Experience in analysis, technical documentation and unit testing Experience in the financial services industry (asset)
- Ability to work in a team, under mínimal supervision
- Ability to adapt in a dynamic and evolving work environment
- Collaborative, dedicated and customer oriented
- Fluency in French, knowledge of English

Vous serez responsable de l’évolution des technologies et assurerez la bonne gestion des infrastructures, des serveurs et de la réseautique afin d'optimiser les systèmes de l'organisation. Vous serez également un acteur clé dans les projets stratégiques en identifiant, recommandant, en mettant en place et en gérant des solutions technologiques pour permettre à l’organisation d’atteindre ses objectifs d’affaires.

Responsabilités:

- Être responsable des activités de gestion, de mise à jour et de développement des technologies liés à l’infrastructure, aux serveurs et à la réseautique
- Administrer les environnements pour assurer la disponibilité, la fiabilité, la sécurité et l’intégrité des systèmes ainsi que leur évolution et optimisation
- Assurer le bon fonctionnement et la sécurité des systèmes et des données qu’ils contiennent en tout temps, gérer les pannes et incidents tout en gardant les parties prenantes informées
- Mettre à jour, tester périodiquement et optimiser les plans de relève informatique
- Être le point de contact technique avec les fournisseurs, lorsque requis pour la bonne gestion des systèmes
- Collaborer à la robustesse des systèmes, via l’analyse des configurations, les tests, le suivi et les ajustements
- Avec l’équipe TI, identifier et déployer des améliorations pour faire évoluer les systèmes et l’infrastructure TI
- Tenir son expertise à jour et s’assurer d’appliquer les apprentissages dans son quotidien

Profil:
DEC en TI ou l'équivalent
- 5+ années d'expérience en administration de systèmes
- Expérience concrète dans l’utilisation des technologies suivantes:

- Environnement Windows, Azure et Office 365
- IIS, Serveur MSSQL, Virtualisation Hyper-V
- Fortigate, Forticlient EMS, SentinelOne, Taegis VDR
- Système de communication Zoom et Microsoft Teams
- Automatisation et gestion avec Powershell
- Sauvegarde et réplication avec Veeam
- Expérience en analyse, en documentation technique et en tests unitaires Expérience dans le domaine des services financiers (atout)
- Capacité à travailler en équipe, sous supervision mínimale
- Facilité d’adaptation dans un environnement de travail dynamique et en évolution
- Esprit collaboratif, dédié et orienté client
- Maitrise du français, connaissance de l’anglais
