EDSNA is seeking individual(s) interested in serving on the EDSNA Board of Directors to help continue our success in achieving our Vision and Mission.
In particular, we are seeking individuals who have skills and experience in:
- Strategic planning fundraising,
- Public awareness
- Education programming,
- Healthcare professional who have worked with individuals affected by eating disorders eating disorders
- IT
- Finance and accounting,
- Human resources
Organization
- Vision: No one in Alberta faces an eating disorder alone.
- Mission: To support and educate Albertans impacted by eating disorders.
- Who do we serve?
We serve individuals dealing with an eating disorder, family and loved ones and those dealing directly with an eating disorder(s), professionals working in the field of eating disorders, and the general public.
- EDSNA is a registered charity, established in 2014.
Board Information
- The EDSNA Board of Directors is a volunteer board.
- EDSNA is committed to providing services to all Albertans.
- Board members from across Alberta are welcome.
- Board meetings occur quarterly with 2 additional strategic planning meetings annually.
- Board meetings occur virtually.
Board Member Expectations
EDSNA is a young organization. The organization is transitioning from an Operational to Governance Board. As we accomplish this transition, Board members are required to participate in organizational initiatives in keeping with areas of personal interest, skill and organizational need.
