Hydrovac Truck Driver/operator

Working with the field supervisor and lead hand, this position will operate a Hydrovac Truck to daylight utilities and provide non-destructive excavation.
**Responsibilities**:
- A minimum of two years Hydrovac operating experience preferred
- Must demonstrate ability to maneuver truck in tight spaces
- Able to follow safe operating practices within our Health and Safety Program.
- Valid DZ licence with a clean drivers abstract
- Good interpersonal skills to communicate with customers and employees.
- Ability to operate manual transmission

- Demonstrated commitment to health and safety and willing to receive applicable Health and Safety training as per legislative and job requirements_._
- Must be able to work in a high paced working environment
- Physically fit and capable of lifting 50+ lbs
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Read and interpret plans, diagrams and perform required work
- Firm understanding of underground locates
- Strong work ethic
- Team player and motivator
- Must be fully proficient with CVOR and Book 7 requirements
- Criminal Background check is required
- **Physical Demands**:_
Must be able to perform the physical demands of the positions. These include but are not limited to working outdoors movement of equipment and/or materials, frequent lifting and pulling. All employees will be required to receive applicable health and safety training on an ongoing basis as per legislative and job requirements.
