Classic Landscapes is looking for a **Hooklift Truck Driver / Landscape Installer** to join our team for the 2025 season (April to November).

This is a **hybrid role** where you’ll spend part of your time operating our Hooklift truck to transport materials and equipment and the remainder working alongside the installation crew on site.

Whether you have experience or are looking to develop new skills, we provide training and opportunities to grow within the company. The Hooklift truck is a Class 5 vehicle so no special drivers license is required, however driving experience is required.

**What You’ll Do in this role**:

- **Hooklift Truck Operation**: Safely operate a hooklift truck to transport materials, tools, and equipment between the shop, job sites, and suppliers.
- **Material Handling**: Load, unload, and position materials such as soil, gravel, pavers, and other landscaping supplies.
- **Site Assistance**: When not driving, assist in setting up work sites, preparing tools, and unloading materials.
- **Landscape Installation**: Work hands-on with the team to install softscapes (sod, trees, garden beds) and hardscapes (patios, walkways, retaining walls).
- **Equipment Use**: Operate small landscape equipment such as packers, concrete saws, and wheelbarrows (training provided).
- **Site Maintenance**: Keep the job site clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with the team to ensure smooth coordination between trucking and on-site installations.

**What We’re Looking For**:

- **Team Player Attitude**: Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- **Truck Driving Experience**: Experience with hooklift or similar truck operation is required. This could include moving trucks, dump trucks, flat decks, etc.
- Mechanical knowledge is a plus for troubleshooting equipment issues.
- **Physical Fitness**: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various outdoor conditions.
- **Reliability**: Punctual and ready to contribute every day.
- **Driver’s License & Transportation**: A valid Class 5 license

**Work Schedule & Environment**:

- **Full-time, seasonal position (April - early November)**:

- **Monday-Friday, 6:15 AM start time** (Occasional Saturdays if needed due to weather delays)
- **50-60 hours per week** (Overtime paid after 10 hours/day or 50 hours/week)
- **Small, close-knit team of 8-10 employees** with a supportive and fun work culture.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Seasonal

Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 50 - 60 per week
