Instore Janitor

**Key Responsibilities**
- Greets customers and provides excellent customer service.
- Cleans washrooms, changes garbage cans, mops and sweeps the floor.
- Collects and takes garbage bags to the garbage compactor.
- On-call for aisle and store clean-ups.
- Maintains a safe and clean work area.
- Complies with store policies and procedures.
- Performs other tasks as required by management to meet business needs.
- Needs to be available to work flexible shifts including evenings and weekends.

**Skills & Knowledge**
- Good communication skills.
- Able to work under mínimal supervision.
- Experience working as a janitor.
- Experience working in a grocery store considered an asset.

**Working Conditions**
- Able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
- Able to bend, squat, climb stairs and lift frequently.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- May occasionally walk on slippery or uneven surfaces.
