**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Operate, maintain and repair manufacturing and production line equipment (automation, corrugation/extrusion, injection molding and other peripheral equipment) and production equipment (baggers, conveyor belt and peripheral equipment)
- Schedule and perform preventative maintenance on all production and manufacturing equipment
- Participate in the validation and implementation of machine maintenance standard operating procedures
- Work with Operations, Engineering and Quality teams in the design, development and validation of new products and improvements in manufacturing methods
- Involvement in planning and installation of future equipment
- Operate hoisting and lifting devices such as overhead cranes, chain hoist, jacks, fork life, etc. to position machinery and parts during the installation, set-up and repair of machinery.
- Coordinate with external suppliers to source new equipment, replacement parts and custom components
- Maintain industry best practices to ensure a safe working environment
- Ensure BOMImed’s product quality standards are met

**Skills Required**:

- Good verbal communication skills
- Ability to operate all hand tools, power tools and automated machinery
- Strong practical “hands on” skills and mechanical/electrical aptitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent attention to detail, maintaining high quality workmanship
- Demonstrate strong time management, organization and prioritizing ability
- Capable of lifting 50 LBS

**Education & Experience**
- Manufacturing Technician certification or equivalent experience
- Machine and maintenance experience
- Experience with plastics (injection molding, automation, extrusion) is an asset
